All tea comes from the same plant species: Camellia Sinensis, with different categories of tea (like in this case Black and Oolong) resulting from processing after harvest. This cultivar is traditionally produced as an Oolong but the producer was curious about what would happen if he were to carefully guide it through a Black Tea process. This tasting set includes 20 grams of each tea, Shanlin Xi Black and Shaolin Xi Oolong, as well as a product card. Tasting these teas alongside one another offers the opportunity to experience two teas - with only processing as the differentiator - resulting in entirely different cups.
