Cold Brewed Tea
Cold brew tea is made by steeping leaves in cold water for hours, creating a smooth and refreshing drink, especially perfect in spring and summer.

What you’ll need
- 12g Passenger Tea
- Gram Scale
- Jar or Pitcher
- Strainer
- Filtered Water
Brewing Instructions
- Dose 12g of tea into a jar or pitcher.
- Fill with 1 quart (946g) of cold, filtered water
- Make sure the tea filter is fully submerged before covering and place in a cool place, ideally a fridge.
- Be sure to label with brewing start time and decanting time.
(example: black tea - start time - 9am / decant time - noon the following day)
- When it's time, decant, strain tea and enjoy!
- Store in the refrigerator and serve within 2 - 5 days.
Recommended steep times:
- White 20-24 hours
- Green 6-9 hours
- Oolong 22-26 hours
- Black 24-30 hours
- Herbal 24-30 hours
