This washed pink bourbon Reserve Lot from Divino Niño producer German Peña Zuta was awarded fourth place in the central region and tenth place overall at the 2024 Copa de Oro competiton last fall. An impeccably balanced coffee, we taste a variety of cooked berry flavors and fresh citrus acidity, accompanied by a lasting dark-honey sweetness.

As with this award-winning lot from German Peña, we’re always thrilled to feature single producers from the group of talented farmers that also contribute coffee to Passenger's Foundational Divino Niño offering. German has been producing coffee for roughly twenty years with the help of his wife Vivianna and his two sons, Sneider and Jerson, at their farm, Finca El Roblar. Proccessing at El Roblar includes an initial 12 hour fermentation in whole cherry before pulping and secondary fermentation in bags for 24 hours prior to drying .
