Tieguanyin is commonly known as "Iron Goddess." This oolong is classified as one of China’s ten most famous teas. Using a Taiwanese cultivar, grown in volcanic soil in Yunnan Province and processed using traditional Fujian methods, this tea was heavily roasted for 12 hours at a high temperature of 230 degrees. Another highlight of this tea is the leaf shape; it is reminiscent of a tiny screw when brewed.
