Jin Xuan is often referred to as “milk oolong” which is more descriptive of its mouthfeel versus taste. Naturally rich in lactones, this cultivar is the twelfth made by TTRES (Taiwan Tea Research and Extension Station). This particular lot of Jin Xuan was grown in an Alishan tea garden. Sitting at 1000m, it is classified as high mountain tea.
