Jose Salazar Bourbon Aji

José Salazar produces coffee with his family on their small farm near the important agricultural hub of Pitalito in the department of Huila, Colombia. As with his Cup of Excellence winning lot from last year, this 2022 selection is an example of the “bourbon ají” variety which genetic testing indicates is not a bourbon, but probably a previously uncatalogued Ethiopian landrace variety.
