Located amongst some of the highest peaks in the Vilcabamba mountain range in Cusco, Peru, Julian Quispe’s enjoys both the benefits and challenges of extremely high elevation coffee production. This Reserve Lot selection from his 2024 harvest presents soft red fruit and floral honey aromatics that continue in the cup with flavors of strawberry, mild citrus, and delicate wafer cookie in the finish.

With over forty years of experience producing coffee and a focused investment in on-site wet milling infrastructure, Julian Quispe has developed a meticulous approach to processing his coffee. After careful cherry selection from his mix of gesha, bourbon, and typica plants, coffees are pulped and then fermented in a cement lined tank for up to 40 hours before being washed and sun dried on stone and cement patios.
