Grown in the Shanlin Xi Mountain, this tea was harvested in the earliest days of April. The cultivar is a large leaf, less compact in the way it grows and is the one often associated with Dong Fang Mei Ren, a bug bitten oolong. Instead of processing this tea traditionally as an oolong, it was processed as a white tea, preserving the natural aromatic character created by the leafhopper activity and showcases the intense fruity and floral notes which are quite surprising but welcomed for a white tea. Hand harvested, lightly withered and dried for four hours at a low temperature. Produced by J.Wang.
