Grown in the tiny village of Lugao near Sun Moon Lake, this tea is hand harvested. Developed by the TTRES (Taiwan Tea Research and Extension Station), this cultivar is a hybrid of a wild leaf from Taiwan and a Burmese assamica leaf.
