Passenger Rewards is a simple program designed to acknowledge ongoing participation.
Receive 1 point for every dollar spent on Passenger or Necessary once your order is fulfilled. Additional points may be awarded through subscription continuity, milestones, or participation opportunities visible within your account.
Every 500 points are automatically converted into $5 in store credit. There’s nothing to redeem or activate. Credit is applied directly to your account and available at checkout.
Store credit can be applied to future purchases whenever you choose. Some customers use it regularly, while others allow it to accumulate over time. The program remains flexible.

Participation in the rewards program extends beyond purchases. Your account may include opportunities to earn through subscriptions, referrals, communication preferences, or periodic activities. Available opportunities are always visible within your rewards dashboard and evolve over time.
If you have an active subscription, available credit can be applied to an upcoming order from your Account → Subscriptions. Points earned through subscription continuity and related milestones accumulate automatically over time. Applying credit before renewal is processed ensures it’s included, as adjustments cannot be made once an order has been generated.
Points are awarded after an order ships and is not returned or refunded.
Rewards can be earned and redeemed on both drinkpassenger.com and necessarycoffee.com using the same Passenger account.
Your friend gets 10% off their first order of $25 or more using your referral link. You’ll earn 1,000 points ($10 credit) when the order is fulfilled.
Referral rewards may not apply if the order ships to the same address as yours, and may be withheld or reversed in cases of refunds/returns, fraud, abuse, or duplicate accounts.
Points are converted into credits in 500-point increments which you can redeem at checkout. If you have a subscription, you can also apply available credit to your next subscription order from Account → Subscriptions.

Points and credit do not currently expire. If that changes, we will post notice on this page and update the program terms.
Taxes, shipping, gift cards, and orders paid entirely with rewards credit do not earn points.
Points earned from refunded purchases will be removed. If rewards credit was used, it will be returned to your account unless otherwise noted.
Rewards credit cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account, or retroactively applied to completed orders. We may withhold rewards in cases of fraud, abuse, or duplicate accounts.
