“The goal is to create a platform for producers to take center stage.” - Osito Coffee

Since 2019, Passenger's green buying team has had the privilege of joining the judging panel at a series of regional coffee competitions in Colombia, organized by our partners at Osito Coffee. Starting as Copa Suaceña and focusing entirely on Suaza - the region where our Divino Niño partnership is sourced - the competition then expanded to encompass all areas of Huila where Osito sources coffee. This competition has consistently supported the work of producers by putting money where the attention goes: all competitors are paid premiums on top of Osito’s fixed pricing model, with regional winners and the Grand Champion receiving extra premiums on top of that.

Diva Maria Monje and her husband, Abrahan Zapata

Diva Maria Monje is an extraordinary female producer who has been included in our Divino Niño partnership since the beginning - delivering great quality year after year. We are delighted to highlight her coffee as part of this award-winning set.
