One of the ten most famous teas in China, Lu’an Guapian translates to “melon seed” in which the peculiar shape of the leaves resemble. The hand shaped leaves of this tea resemble small melon seeds, hence the name. The producer of this tea is a young woman from the Ling Family, who has over 40 years of tea making experience. She is an expert in pan-frying and charcoal drying methods. Her expertise plus the use of more mature leaves gives this tea a nice body and complexity which truly compliments its sweetness.
